SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — With the crisis in Ukraine, Poland has been flooded with refugees, with more than a million entering the country.
The chaos has caught the interest of a Utah non-profit that specializes in assisting refugees.
August Mission was initially created to help Afghan refugees relocate last fall.
Over the past month, leaders with the group have been following the conflict between Russia and Ukraine closely.
On Tuesday, the organization sent off two of its team members to Warsaw to help there. The plan is to send more, once the initial two can get bearings of what’s needed…
