Reece Roberts served in the United States Army for over 30 years, eventually retiring as a Colonel. He served in many capacities including commanding a company in combat. He planned and executed operations at many levels from small 10-12 person teams to multi-echelon, multi-national events involving thousands of personnel.
His operational specialty is in disaster/emergency response, and he served as the Operation Officer for one of three division-level, emergency-response Task Forces during the COVID pandemic.
Following his military service, Reece sought continued opportunities to serve, which brought him to August Mission. His desire to relieve suffering, propensity for tackling complex issues, experience in operations, as well as expertise in human resources and organizational management make him a valuable asset to August Mission.
He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix. He was an Assistant Professor at Utah State University, has a certificate in Strategy and Policy Development from the US Army War College, has been a guest instructor at the US Army War College, and is an alumnus of the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies.
His philosophy of service permeates through his family with 6 of his children/in-laws either currently or previously serving in the military.
He lives in Herriman, Utah where his 5 children and 9.5 grandchildren are all close by.
