SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A team from Utah providing humanitarian efforts to war refugees in Europe has moved from Warsaw, Poland to Lviv, Ukraine.

The August Mission, a local Utah non-profit, sent two team members to Warsaw on March 8. Since that time the team has spent significant time networking and finding ways to help.

The team was gathering volunteer doctors to push forward into clinics that have been established or identified in western Ukraine.

They were also working hard to build means of transporting goods across the border from Poland to Ukraine.

August Mission’s leader, Bruce Roberts, said they will be sending two more teams before the end of the month to help push forward their humanitarian efforts…
